I work in the emergency department at Boston Children’s Hospital and have specialized in a set of  skills for how to approach and treat children in a way that takes their minds of their pain and allows them to cooperate during procedures.

I took a great hypnosis course given by an emergency physician in California that got me started and for a while I was using straight trance work but it was too time consuming and not appropriate for young children – you can’t do arm catalepsy on a 2-year old. So I was forced to rethink how to apply the basic hypnotic principles to working with children, especially young children. I eventually extracted the principles I learned and began to develop my own framework and ideas on how to do this with young children.

Dr. Rajni Vyas (1937) is a medical doctor, qualified as Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She has pioneering research in the field of infertility. She has taught at the Medical College and M.S. Dr. Bhaskar Vyas (1937) is a plastic surgeon. He has been a pioneer in the field by way of establishing plastic surgery unit at the Medical College and M.S. University, Baroda. He has trained in Edinburgh and Hahnemann Medical College, Philadelphia.

He is a visiting professor at the M.S. University, Department of Psychology, Baroda, India. He is President of The Indian Society for Clinical Hypnosis. His bifurcation to hypnotherapy was consequent to his studies and exposure to esoteric meditation practices of Hindu and Buddhist traditions.

A versatile scientific training has enabled him to advancement of Ericksonian strategies as well as to advanced understanding of Patanjali’s Raj Yoga as well as Vajrayana practice. Andrew T Austin – England

Known as Andy to his friends, Andrew T. Austin is a neurolinguist, therapist and trainer based in the south of England.  Author of the book, “The Rainbow Machine – Tales from a Neurolinguist’s Journal”, he has been compared to Robert Anton Wilson  and When told he had been called, “The British Milton Erickson” by Bill O’Hanlon, Andy was seen to panic slightly and was heard to declare, “it’s going to be much easier being the British Andy Austin, I already know how to do that one.”
