What to Expect From Hypnosis?

medvetet-undermedvetet-250There is an ongoing debate about what kind of results you can expect by consulting somebody who works with hypnosis. The answer is simple: Everything and nothing.

Why is this so?

Imagine that you are about to visit somebody with a grand piano. You have heard that a solo concert can be an amazing experience, close to spiritual. A completely mesmerizing mind expanding opportunity. You know sometimes thousands of people pay large sums for this experience. Now you are about to visit somebody with a grand piano.

Turns out the piano isn’t really tuned. And it’s not a great piano either. And the person playing the piano has played for many years and was trained by the best. Note for note the music is correctly played, but your experience is….. nothing. Irritation at most.

On your way back you pass a street musician. A ragged person with a banged up guitar playing something… something that makes you stop in your tracks and forget time and space. Suddenly for no reason you feel tears rolling down your cheeks. Where did this strong emotion come from?

Here is an article about how a skilled organisation with professionals who understand the possibilities of hypnosis offered it in a way that, if done differently, may have had the opposite effect.

Be skilled. Be devoted. Be humble.

    Ulf, I love this blog.

I help people in all sorts of situations, much like yourself and our fellow peers. The trouble with this kind of article for our business, is I feel of minimal impact. None the less, it is something whereby we have seen and do contribute to many long term cures for various things which have been well documented. IBS included as we as mental health issues, be it depression, ADD, ADHD, and as you know the list goes on and on.

There are many places where they feel the “proof” is NOT sufficient, based on what they define as satisfactory, this to me means that there are many other ways to get the same kind of results ( apparently ) which require a more, well pharmacological method. Thus sustaining the ongoing problem for the client in the long run. They do not see IBS as being something which IS and has been proven to be linked to emotional states. Yet by prescribing drugs for the issue or telling someone which I have heard. ” you are going to have to learn to live with this condition “, can be devastating. I know personally as I had been diagnosed with “IBS” mid last year, and right now, very rarely do I suffer an attack from it.

Expanding ones mind, and ones values in these areas and looking more closely into documented proof, of someone who has worked with these issues and continue to do so, would not take too much time out of your valuable day IF you are serious about wanting cures to things which can be helped.

There are more reasons than there are explanations, and some will speculate, but for me I know where I stand on this, and I know for sure, that once you find the right person who is qualified in the area which is needed and who takes their job and their role seriously and cares about their clients. You can indeed work what can be classed as miracles. However a client stating it was a miracle, unfortunately does not get the academic credence that it deserves.

In time maybe things will change, however until then.

I shall do my very best along with my peers and friends to keep the miracles rolling in and keeping clients happy and free of the things which say cannot be done.

    Regards as always
    Craig
